I’ve been shooting for 15 years and started shooting weddings for over a decade ago. The beauty, intensity and emotion of a wedding really attracted me and I’ve never looked back.
I live for those special, in-between moments that are unique to you and your wedding day. I’m also well aware of those much needed formal wedding pictures and give attention to detail so you always look your best using lighting, composition and my overall organic style.
I always have an assistant with me. By assisting me in organizing your bridal party and family members for your formals, carrying additional equipment and lenses, or simply getting me a glass of water, I’m able to focus 100% of my attention on you and your wedding so we never miss that perfect shot. Additionally, and depending on what package you book, I’ll also often include a 2nd photographer which will doubly ensure complete coverage of every aspect of your wedding.
All of my 2nd shooters are also professional photographers and work with me on a regular basis so they know exactly what I need and expect from them. We work as a team to divide and conquer and ensure every moment is captured. When all of the action is happening in one place, this also allows us to double up on those super, special moments of your day.
We’ll take thousands of photos but you can expect to receive approximately 100 images per hour of shooting, as I will filter out only the best images for delivery. Keep in mind, the final number of images delivered might vary depending on your guest count, family members, wedding party, details and more. Rest assured, you will have hundreds of images ;)
You will receive your images via a beautiful, online gallery which you can share with your family and friends and will have access to download your final images. Additionally, you’ll receive a personalized package containing your USB with all your final images, plus a little extra surprise.
I take special care to spend quality time to go through the thousands of images from your wedding to select which images will be edited. Those images are then exported into my post-production software called Lightroom, where I apply my custom preset, and I edit each image by balancing exposure, color, etc. This way all the images have a consistent and cohesive look.
I offer extra retouching which can be applied to 10 images of your choosing. This will remove blemishes, fly aways or other unwanted aspects of the image for a more polished and flawless look. If you would like additional retouching, I’m happy to discuss and can give you an idea on any additional costs once I have a better idea of what is needed. (Removing a small blemish is much easier than fixing bad tan lines.)
I will deliver approximately 20-30 ‘sneak peak’ images about one week after your wedding. The full gallery will be delivered about 6-8 weeks after your wedding date.
You may print your images in any format, share your images with your friends and family and share on any social media platform. As a courtesy, I ask to be tagged or mentioned in any social media posts and for you to maintain the integrity of the photo by refraining from altering the image in any way (ie filters, excessive cropping, etc.).
In line with the industry standard, Michelle Kyle Photography maintains copyright to all images, meaning you cannot use your photos in any capacity for financial gain.
Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other before your wedding day! The session will be approximately two hours and you can check out my Engagement Session Guide for more information and details.
I will send you an online quote to review your package details. Within that quote, you’ll have full access to sign the contract digitally and pay the 50% deposit to secure me for your wedding date. Your balance will be due 30 days prior to your wedding and all payments can be made via credit card, check, or cash.
Of course! Adding extra hours, prints, albums, or a second shooter is super easy. If you’re adding a second shooter, simply let me know two months prior to your wedding date so we have time to arrange logistics.
Yes! I will email you a link to your wedding day questionnaire one month prior to your wedding. This questionnaire asks for all the details of your special day and provides me and my team with all of the information we will need to prepare for your wedding. In this questionnaire is a section for you to include your family shot list and any other important information you’d like me to know.
In all my years of shooting, I HAVE NEVER missed an event. However, this is a question that comes up and understand the concern. I’m so blessed to have developed an incredible community of professional wedding photographers who I love and respect and we’re all there for each other. If there was ever the need, I trust each of them to shoot in my place, and you would have an opportunity via an engagement session or some other forum, to build a report with them. Plus, I would still be there with you every step of the way, before and after your wedding day.
Absolutely! For prints, you can order directly through your online gallery. For albums, I create a customized album, including your favorite images from your wedding day.
